Hey there!

Thanks for stopping by.
Let me introduce myself

I’m Becky 🙂

Perhaps you’ve seen me on social media or read an article I wrote?  Maybe you’ve got an awesome friend who recommended you connect with me, or perhaps you just stumbled across my site by chance (don’t you love serendipity?!)  Either way, I’m very happy to see you here.

So a little bit about me…  I’m that strange girl that genuinely likes to workout, I know it’s weird but I really do get my kicks from jumping around like a manic in a killer cardio session or lifting heavy things on the gym floor.

I’m addicted to active wear and am the shameless owner of way too much neon lycra and an obscene number of sports bras (it’s likely I single handedly keep Lululemon and Lorna Jane in business!)

I eat a lot of peanut butter (read A LOT!), I add cinnamon to pretty much everything, I love most things green, have a weakness for coconut ice cream and am slightly obsessed with breakfast – given half a chance, I would eat breakfast for lunch and dinner 🙂

Originally I’m from the UK – I’m a British girl with a very British accent – but I’m also a travel junkie and a gypsy at heart.  Six years ago I packed up my bags and armed with my fitness and nutrition certifications, set off in search of fits and fun adventures else where.  During this time I was lucky enough to find myself working and loving life in far flung destinations such as Bermuda, Saudi Arabia, Paris, Mexico and Thailand.

It’s been a little over 7 years now since I started my career in the fitness industry, and when I first began I will admit my greatest ambition was to make a workout DVD just like my idol Jane Fonda.  (Although in hindsight, this probably also has something to do with my burning desire to wear leg warmers?!)

Now though, I’m on a mission to make you love doing burpees!  SERIOUSLY!

I want to help and inspire women everywhere to embrace living the fit life, to help them transform their body and to realise it’s not impossible to get into incredible shape and stay that way.

I want to help you and other women just like you to become more confident and to truly love your body.

In the process I want to help you develop an abundance of energy, a healthier relationship with food, a more positive mindset and a kick ass attitude to making the most out of life 🙂

It’s my calling, it’s what I was put here to do, I believe we all have a purpose, and without a shadow of a doubt, this is mine.

You’re probably wondering what qualifies this crazy British girl to go on a one woman crusade to get us all rockin’ a hot, fit body?

Good question.

My athletic background is in tennis. As a junior I played both competitively in the UK and America, but it was’t until my mid-twenties that I began taking exercise seriously and my love affair with ‘proper fitness’ really began.

Since then I’ve dabbled in boxing and Muay Thai, and whilst I love these sports, my heart belongs to the weights room and the squat rack 🙂

In 2013 I decided to take things to the next level and began my own transformation journey and competed in the first of several fitness and physique competitions. To date I have won four international comps in the UK and US in both the Muscle Model and Bikini Fitness categories, as well as placing top 5 in several other events.

My wealth of knowledge and adaptable training style have made me a highly sought after expert when it comes burning fat, building muscle and getting into phenomenal shape. I’ve been featured multiple times in the British newspaper, The Telegraph and am the regular featured fitness expert in the Bermuda Royal Gazette. In my professional career I’ve helped transform the bodies of everyone from Royalty and CEO’s, to fitness competitors, models and military serviceman.

But I have to admit, my favourite people to work with are women just like you 🙂 And the reason for this is quite simple, because I genuinely believe I can have a positive impact on your life. I believe this, because I’ve been where you’ve been.

You see, there was an unhealthy period in my life.

When I was at university and in my early twenties I started struggling with my weight, I’d let myself go, I wasn’t playing tennis anymore and I was probably partying a little bit too much. I was anything but a shining example of health.

When I finally decided to do something about my situation, I fell into the trap of blindly jumping from one fitness program to the next in the hope that each would be ‘the one’. But because I failed to stick to any of them for more than a hot second, I never see any lasting results.

In much the same way, I more or less tried every diet under the sun, the good, the bad and the down-right disgusting. Yet every couple of weeks I’d fall spectacularly off the wagon and end up in a vicious cycle of dieting deprivation and over indulgence.

My confidence sucked, I felt unattractive, I was convinced that no men would ever want to date me, and quite simply, I hated the way I looked.

I’d stand in front of the mirror grabbing my muffin top and my back fat, I’d look longingly at my thighs wishing my cellulite would go away and I’d pray that the mythical ‘thigh gap’, which at the time was being touted as the most desirable physical asset, would suddenly appear.

None of it made sense to me, I was going to the gym and I was hardly eating, so why didn’t I have the slim, fit and toned body I once had?

I’ll tell you why, because in reality I’d workout sporadically and when I did, I’d spend 45 mins on the treadmill or sitting on the stationary bike pedalling along at a cushy pace whilst I read a magazine… then I’d go home and scoff a massive bowl of cereal because I hadn’t eaten anything all day, and didn’t have the energy to cook a proper dinner.

I was clueless, frustrated and depressed about my body shape, and almost ready to throw in the towel.

But I didn’t.

Instead I got lucky. One day, just as I was finishing up with another pointless training session, a PT at my gym came over to me and quite simply asked if I needed help. I’m serious. That was it. That was the catalyst.

And so my fitness journey began. I learnt so much, I can’t even begin to tell you. I didn’t realise that everything I’d been doing fitness and nutrition wise up until that point was completely wrong, and now with the guidance of someone who really knew what they were talking about and someone who kept me accountable, everything started to make sense and fall into place.

Not only did I learn how to train properly and eat better to see the physical changes I’d longed for, but my whole mindset shifted. I became more confident, my energy sky rocketed, I started feeling good about myself and I stopped caring whether I’d ever have a thigh gap or not!

And just for the record, I never have had a thigh gap, I’m not genetically built like that, and you know what, I’m glad, because what I do have is far, far better – I have long, strong, toned legs that quite frankly look really good in a pair of hot pants 🙂

I will be forever grateful to the trainer that stopped and asked f I needed help all those years ago. Whether he knew it at the time, he not only guided me onto the path of my own fitness journey and initiated my physical transformation, but he also changed the course of my life.

Because now I want to pay it forward and be that trainer that reaches out to you, offers you help and helps you transform your body and your life 🙂

This is going to be one helluva fun journey, and whilst the first step to getting fit maybe scary and challenging, I can promise you 100% that you absolutely won’t have a single regret.

So if you’re ready, I’m definitely ready. What do you say?

Let’s do this!
